Academics Not Activism

    “White Fragility,” “Systemic Racism,” “CRT,” “Project 1619,” and all forms of woke education are personal concepts and ideologies created by elite university educators and mainstream media journalists that have been adopted by public education as fact. When facing this type of radical ideology, no opposing view or idea is acceptable. Any opposing view that presents facts and information that disagrees with their concepts is called a racist, anti-LGBTQ, or another non-flattering disrespectful reference. All disapproval is used as evidence of “fragility,” “racism,” or “right-wing extremism.” Progressives demand 100% acceptance of their theories, concepts, and ideology. Any denial is interpreted as proof of its validity.

    FLOW Parents Defending education believes in a “Pro-human” approach to teaching the concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. When we see each other as one human race, we are united in all aspects of our lives. Suppose we continue to adopt the “woke” orthodoxy that requires us to identify ourselves and each other based on immutable characteristics like skin color, gender, and sexual orientation – we ultimately diminish our compassionate humanity and create the very problem it seeks to resolve.

    When we see each other as one human race, we embrace and accept each other completely with love, compassion, kindness, and respect for each other’s beliefs. So we’re working hard to have our public schools focus on quality, fact-based academia that promotes compassion and the individual rights and freedom of the Human Race.
